We have trained and certified with both CAPPA, ALACE and DONA with the goal of assisting women and their families in having positive childbirth experiences. Childbirth classes are also held in the Midland, Collingwood and Barrie areas of Ontario. Private In home classes can be arranged.
Whether you choose to deliver in hospital or at home, with a midwife or an obstetrician, there is a doula in our practice to meet your needs. We are experienced in home and hospital birth, water birth, VBAC and teen pregnancy, multiples and cesarean birth. Our postpartum doulas assist families through the hectic first weeks after delivery. Our postpartum support group will be starting soon.
Although we are a diverse group of women and mothers, we are linked by our passion to empower and support families through pregnancy and childbirth and to educate those they meet along the way to change outdated attitudes towards women and their rights to birth.
Our skills have deepened through education, ongoing training and experiences and have shaped us to become compassionate and understanding, yet open minded as childbirth professionals.
